Questions we
get asked.

Notary & Loan Signing

RON lets you sign in front of a notary over secure video instead of face to face. Whether it's accepted depends on the document and on the rules of the state where it will be used — some receiving parties, including certain lenders and county recorders, still insist on a wet-ink signature. Tell us what the document is for and we'll confirm which method will actually be accepted before you book.

Legal Document Prep

No, and this is an important distinction. We are document preparers, not attorneys. We type and file the forms you direct us to prepare. We do not choose which forms your situation calls for, interpret how the law applies to you, or advise on strategy — doing so would be the unauthorized practice of law. When a question crosses that line, we'll tell you plainly and point you toward a licensed attorney.

Translation & Interpretation

A certified translation comes with a signed statement from the translator attesting that the translation is complete and accurate. Agencies, courts, universities and licensing boards typically require that certification; a landlord or an internal business document usually does not. Certified work costs more because of the attestation and the added review, so it's worth confirming what the receiving party actually requires before ordering it.

Business Formation, Reporting & Licensing

For most U.S. businesses, no — and this changed recently enough that a lot of outdated advice is still circulating. FinCEN issued a final rule effective August 14, 2026 that permanently exempts companies formed in the United States, and their beneficial owners, from beneficial ownership reporting under the Corporate Transparency Act. The requirement now applies only to entities formed under foreign law that have registered to do business in a U.S. state. If your company was formed abroad and registered here, the obligation may still apply and we can help you assess it.

SAM.gov, UEI, CAGE & SBA Certification

Registration comes before certification. You need an active SAM.gov registration, a UEI, and a CAGE code before an SBA certification application will go anywhere. Attempting them in the wrong order is one of the more common ways businesses lose weeks.

General

Frequently, yes, and it usually saves time. An immigration filing often needs document preparation and certified translation. A closing may need a bilingual notary. A new federal contractor needs formation, then SAM.gov, then certification. We'll flag when a second service applies rather than letting you discover it mid-process.

Within one business day, with next steps and a clear quote. If you're working against a filing or closing deadline, say so in your first message and we'll tell you immediately whether it's achievable.

No. We are notaries, document preparers, translators, and business filing specialists. We prepare and file what you direct us to prepare, and we tell you plainly when a question needs a licensed attorney instead.
